North American Professional Lacrosse
Lacrosse is played professionally across both the United States and Canada. Popular at the collegiate level, there are two prominent professional leagues - the National Lacrosse League (NLL) and the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL).

The two leagues play with their own distinct rulesets. The NLL plays indoors within a hockey rink utilizing a rulset known as Box Lacrossse. The PLL plays outdoors with a ruleset known as Field Lacrosse. The PLL field and rules most closely resemble the college game. Across both leagues, they boast more than twenty professional clubs.
